Titans general manager Ran Carthon expressed his excitement about the addition of Sneed, along with free-agent signee Chidobe Awuzie, as key players in new defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson’s aggressive scheme.
Carthon highlighted Sneed’s physicality, tackling abilities, and coverage techniques, which were instrumental in the Kansas City Chiefs’ recent Super Bowl victories. Sneed’s impressive plays included a crucial forced fumble in the AFC Championship Game and solid coverage in Super Bowl LVIII.
