Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is facing some family drama as his father has been indicted on a drunk-driving charge.
Mahomes Sr. was arrested by police in Tyler, Texas on February 3, which could result in a 10-year prison sentence and a $10,000 fine.
This isn’t the first time that Mahomes has had to deal with family issues. His brother, Jackson, recently pleaded no contest to a simple battery charge and was sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation.
Despite the drama surrounding his family, Mahomes has still managed to rise to the top of the NFL and maintain a clean reputation.
This latest incident adds to the challenges he has faced, but it’s clear that he is able to handle adversity both on and off the field.
