Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been vocal about his optimism regarding his recovery from a shoulder injury.

In a recent statement, Watson expressed confidence that he will be fully prepared for Week 1 of the 2024 season.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Watson shared his determination to return better than ever. He highlighted his trust in the medical team overseeing his recovery, including renowned doctor Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

Watson emphasized the extensive research and preparation he has devoted to his rehabilitation, stating, “I want to make sure I come back even better than before.”

Watson’s time with the Browns has been turbulent, marked by high expectations following his trade from the Houston Texans in 2022. Despite flashes of promise in the 2023 season, a shoulder fracture cut his campaign short.

While backup Joe Flacco led the Browns to the playoffs, Watson has been diligently rehabbing in Los Angeles.
