Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has had his fair share of injuries during his time in the NFL. From a knee injury that ended his rookie season to a calf strain that hampered him at the start of the 2023 season, Burrow has faced adversity on the field.

Now, a wrist injury has sidelined him for the remainder of the season. Despite these setbacks, Burrow remains optimistic and is using these experiences as valuable lessons as he prepares for the 2024 season.

“I’m confident I’ve put all the work in I need to make sure I’m healthy,” Burrow said. He emphasized the importance of listening to his body and making adjustments to ensure his well-being as he continues his career.

As Burrow looks ahead to the 2024 season, he will have to adjust to some changes in the Bengals’ lineup. Running back Joe Mixon has left for Houston, and offensive coordinator Brian Callahan has taken on a head coaching role in Tennessee.

However, the Bengals have promoted from within to fill these vacancies, with quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher stepping up to replace Callahan. Burrow is optimistic about the team’s direction and is looking forward to working with the new additions to the coaching staff.

Despite the challenges of the past season, Burrow is determined to improve and lead the Bengals to success in 2024. He acknowledges the need for consistency and understands that his availability is crucial to the team’s performance.

“We have to be more consistent than we were last year,” Burrow explained. “If we really want to be one of those top one to three offenses in the league, we have to be more consistent.”

Burrow’s return to form in the latter part of the 2023 season instilled fear in opposing teams once again. As he prepares for the upcoming season, he is focused on inspiring that same level of respect and delivering results on the field.
