T.J. Hockenson is an American football player who currently plays as a tight end for the Detroit Lions in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on July 3, 1997, in Chariton, Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa, where he played college football.

Hockenson was selected by the Lions in the first round (eighth overall pick) of the 2019 NFL Draft.
