Former NFL cornerback Vontae Davis has tragically passed away at the age of 35, confirmed by the Davie Police Department in Florida. The police responded to a medical call after Davis was found deceased by a house assistant, with preliminary information indicating no foul play.

Davis, who was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 2009 NFL Draft, had a successful career that included stints with the Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, and Buffalo Bills. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2014 and 2015, showcasing his talent as a standout cornerback in the league.

In a statement, the Dolphins expressed their condolences to Davis’ family and loved ones, highlighting his impact on the field and in the community. Despite facing injuries in his later years, Davis left a lasting legacy with 121 games played, 395 tackles, 97 passes defensed, and 22 interceptions over his decade-long career.
