Former NFL star Terrell Suggs has found himself in legal trouble in Arizona, as reported by TMZ Sports.

The jail records indicate that the former seven-time pro bowler was arrested late on Tuesday night in Maricopa County on charges of assault and offense against public order.

According to a spokesperson for the jail, Suggs has already been released following his arrest. Suggs, who played college football at Arizona State University, has yet to comment on the situation.

While more details about the incident have not been disclosed, it is expected that further information may come to light in the coming days. Suggs had a successful NFL career, predominantly with the Baltimore Ravens, where he played from 2003 to 2019.

During his 17 seasons in the NFL, Suggs amassed an impressive 139 sacks, seven interceptions, and 895 total tackles.

He was honored with Defensive Player of the Year accolades and received one All-Pro selection. Suggs finished his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, winning a Super Bowl with the team in 2020.
