The Jacksonville Jaguars have made a significant move by signing star pass rusher Josh Allen to a lucrative five-year, $150 million contract. This deal, reported by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, will place Allen among the highest-paid players at his position.

Rapoport further revealed that Allen’s contract includes an impressive $88 million guaranteed, showcasing the team’s commitment to keeping the talented edge rusher as a cornerstone of their defense.

The Jaguars had initially placed the franchise tag on Allen on March 5, allowing them time to work out a long-term agreement. This deal not only secures Allen’s future with the team but also solidifies his position as a key player for years to come.

Allen, a two-time Pro Bowler, had a standout season in 2023, recording 17.5 sacks to tie for second in the league. With 45 career sacks, 103 quarterback hits, nine forced fumbles, and two interceptions over five NFL seasons, Allen has proven himself as a dominant force on the field.
