Jordon Riley is an American football nose tackle for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football in North Carolina, Garden City, Nebraska, and Oregon

College and draft

Riley participated in five games as a true freshman at North Carolina in 2017 and earned six tackles. He redshirted the next year. Riley transferred to Garden City Community College in 2019, where he played nine games and recorded 26 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, and two sacks in his lone year. He transferred once more in 2020, this time to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, for whom he appeared in six games that season.

Riley competed in 10 games for the Cornhuskers in 2021, recording seven tackles and one TFL while being nominated to the league all-academic team. He transferred to the Oregon Ducks for his last season in 2022, hoping to get more playing time. He started all 13 games for the Ducks and had 21 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, a pass breakup, and a half-sack.

 

Riley was selected in the seventh round (243rd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft by the New York Giants
