Matt LaFleur is believed to be a former NFL quarterback who played at Saginaw Valley State University before beginning his coaching career.
Matt started his coaching career as an offensive assistant at Saginaw Valley State University in 2003. He then furthers his studies at Central Michigan University and Ashland University, where he served as offensive coordinator.
Matt was able to join the Houston Texans’ staff in 2008, first as an offensive assistant and then as the quarterbacks coach. He then went on to coach the quarterbacks for the Washington Redskins from 2010 to 2013.
The Atlanta Falcons 2014, hired Matt as their quarterbacks coach, where he worked under head coach Mike Smith and offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. The following year, He was hired as offensive coordinator by the Cleveland Browns, where he assisted in the development of rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel.
Again in 2016, Matt was hired as the Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator, and he helped lead the team to the NFC Championship Game. He was hired as the Green Bay Packers head coach in 2019, and he led the team to the NFC Championship Game in his first season.

Matt LaFleur, who is the head coach of the National Football League’s Green Bay Packers (NFL) number of siblings are not known, however, his younger brother is identified as Mike LaFleur.
The two brothers, Mike and Matt have a coaching background and have previously worked on the same coaching staff. Matt was the 49ers’ offensive coordinator when Mike was a wide receivers coach, and they both worked for the Atlanta Falcons.
Mike and Matt have a good reputation in the league and are regarded as two of the NFL’s brightest young coaches. They have both contributed significantly to the success of the teams for which they have worked, and many believe that they have a bright future in the NFL.
