William Stephen Belichick is an American professional football coach who is the head coach and general manager of the New England Patriots of the National Football League.

Belichick attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut where he played center and tight end. In addition to being a football team member, he played lacrosse and squash, serving as the lacrosse team captain during his senior season.

A member of the Chi Psi fraternity, he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1975. Eventually, he was part of the inaugural induction class into the university’s Athletics Hall of Fame in the spring of 2008.

As we all know the parents of Bill Belichick’s parents, Stephen Nickolas Belichick was an American football player, coach, and scout. He played college football at Western Reserve University, now known as Case Western Reserve University, from 1938 to 1940 and then in the National Football League with the Detroit Lions in 1941.

Jeannette Belichick passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, in Annapolis. Jeannette was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son Bill.

On October 23, 1921, Jeannette Ruth Munn was born in Newberry, Ohio. She received her high school diploma from Newberry before enrolling at Hiram College, where she majored in language.

After earning her degree from Hiram College in 1942, she returned to the school in 1945 to teach French and Spanish. While working at Hiram School, Jeannette met her better half, Steve Belichick, the head football trainer.
