Meet Josh Mcdaniels’ parents Thom McDaniels & Christine McDaniels
Josh was born and raised in a lovely athletic family. He is the son of Thom MacDaniels, and his wife Christine McDaniels. Thom and Christine are white and proud American nationals. The couple fell in love in their youthful stage and are now parents and grandparents.
Thom and Christine raised two sons, Josh and his brother Ben. The couple might be in their 70s and 80s by now, though we do not know their real ages. Much detail is not documented about Christine, and we can say much about her.
However, Thom McDaniels was a coach and he coached football for high schools in Ohio before retiring. He held the position of head coach for 26 years, spending time at Massillon Jackson High School, Canton McKinley High School, and Warren G. Harding High School.
Thom also coached for 40 years in his life and was inducted into the Ohio high school coaches’ Hall of Fame. In 2004 and 2010, he was a finalist twice for the NFL high school coach of the year.
Also, in 1997, while coaching his Canton McKinley team to state and national championships, Thom was voted USA Today’s national high school football coach of the year. This was the final year of his first stint as Canton McKinley’s head coach.
Thom mows greens on a golf course these days. However, over his 40 years as a high school football coach in northeast Ohio, he carved out a legend.
Thom doesn’t hold back when he thinks his son needs to hear anything like most good fathers do. When Thom’s son Josh was five years old, he first went to his practices, and even now, Josh agrees with his father whenever he has something to say about coaching.
Thom coached several notable players, including Percy Snow, Maurice Clarett, Mike Doss, and Mario Manningham.
