The famous American football coach Kyle Michael Shanahan is the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League.

As the offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons, whose offense scored the most points in the league in 2016 and helped the team reach Super Bowl LI, he rose to prominence.

Mike Shanahan, Shanahan’s father, was a coach at the University of Minnesota when he was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In 1994, he attended Saratoga High School in Saratoga, California, with his father working as the San Francisco 49ers’ offensive coordinator.

Shanahan attended East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, Illinois, where he played wishbone quarterback for the Eagles teams coached by Jack Leese in 1968 and 1969.

Dennis Cascio broke Shanahan’s single-game rushing record of 260 yards on 15 carries in a 32–8 win over Hinsdale South on September 20, 1969. Shanahan held that record until 1976. 1970 marked his high school graduation.
