The National Football League (NFL) is set to make history by hosting its first-ever regular season games in South America.

The Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off in São Paulo, Brazil, at Corinthians Arena, the home of Brazilian soccer team SC Corinthians.

The game is scheduled for Friday night of Week 1 and will be streamed exclusively on Peacock, as well as airing on free over-the-air broadcast television in local markets. Additionally, the game will be available on NFL+.

This matchup brings plenty of excitement to the start of the 2024 season, with the Packers surprising many with their performance in the 2023 NFC playoffs. Led by quarterback Jordan Love, the Packers have a young and promising team that has set high expectations for the upcoming season.

On the other hand, the Eagles are looking to bounce back from a disappointing end to their 2023 campaign. With head coach Nick Sirianni’s job on the line following a collapse last season, the Eagles are eager to prove themselves in Brazil.

Facing off against the Packers will be a tough challenge for Philadelphia, as many believe that Green Bay is poised for a successful season.

Both teams will be participating in their second international series game in franchise history. The Eagles last played a regular-season game outside of the U.S. in 2018 when they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

The Packers made their international debut in 2022 with a loss to the New York Giants in London. The upcoming game in Brazil will mark an exciting new chapter for both teams as they look to showcase their talent on an international stage.
