The National Football League’s voluntary offseason program has officially begun for the 25 clubs with returning head coaches.

This marks the start of Phase One of the nine-week offseason program, where teams like the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and others will focus on meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehab.

Meanwhile, teams with new coaches have already been hard at work over the past two weeks preparing for the upcoming season. As Phase Two approaches in the following weeks, on-field workouts will be introduced, including individual or group instruction with drills conducted at a walk-through pace. However, live contact or team offense versus team defense drills are not permitted during this phase.

Phase Three will wrap up the offseason program with organized team activities (OTAs) taking place over the final four weeks. Teams will have the opportunity to conduct a total of 10 days of OTAs, with 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills allowed. No live contact will be permitted during this phase.
