The Super Bowl is the yearly final playoff game of the National Football League (NFL) to know the league champion.

It has served as the final game of every NFL season since 1966, replacing the NFL Championship Game.

The NFL has successfully fended off several rival leagues and encountered its most serious competitor when the American Football League (AFL) was formed in 1960.

The AFL vied with the NFL for players and fans.

The original “bowl game” was the Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, California, which was first played in 1902 as the “Tournament East–West football game” as part of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and moved to the new Rose Bowl Stadium in 1923.

What NFL division has won a Super Bowl?

The NFC East is currently the most successful division in the NFL since the first Super Bowl in 1967. The NFC East has won 22 NFC championships and 13 Super Bowl titles, marking the highest of any division in the league.

The Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl twice in the 1970s. Dallas beat the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos in those Super Bowls. They then won three more championships in the 1990s by beating the Buffalo Bills twice and the Pittsburgh Steelers once.

The New York Giants defeated the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl. The 2008 and 2012 NFL seasons gave the Giants two Super Bowl championships. They beat the New England Patriots in the 2008 and 2012 NFL seasons to win the Super Bowl.

The Washington Football Team won two Super Bowl championships in1980s. In the 1983 and 1988 NFL seasons, Washington defeated the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos and moved on to defeat the Buffalo Bills to win their third Super Bowl in the 1992 NFL season.

The Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl in the 2018 NFL season. They defeated the New England Patriots 41-33 to capture their first title. They were the only team in the NFC East division without a Super Bowl win, before winning it all in 2018.
