The American football coach and former tight end Daniel Allen Campbell, also known as Motor City Dan Campbell or MCDC for short, is the head coach of the Detroit Lions of the National Football League.
Campbell was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft, where he played for Texas A&M and the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints, respectively. Campbell participated as a player for the Giants in the 2000 Super Bowl.
