He is one of the four sons of Denise Garoppolo and her husband Tony Garoppolo. He is the last child of his parents, hence, he has three older brothers; Tony Garoppolo Jr., an architect, Mike Garoppolo, a resigned football coach who doubles as a physical education and health teacher at the Niles North, and Jimmy Garoppolo, an American Football quarterback.
Billy’s paternal grandparents, Anthony and Rose Garoppolo, were both Italian immigrants, while his maternal grandparents, Theodore J. Malec and Harriet D. Seidel, were of Polish and German descent, respectively.
