Going to the game to watch a match could not be just the only thing to see. Having a mascot on any NFL team is also part of the side-attraction people see at the games.

These lovely mascots dance and make funny moves to get the fans going wild, well except for a touchdown as nothing beats the shouts and screams of a touchdown.

The Mascot job is quite similar but a little different, just not like the mascots we have in our high schools. Because they only wear the costume for extra credits in gym class.

On the NFL field, mascots earned on an average a total of $60,000 per season though it is said some mascots can also earn almost $100,000 per season, while others can earn around $30,000.

Aside from the mascot showing up on the field, they also get paid for making appearances outside the games which are negotiated by the team.

According to sources, the Dallas Cowboy mascot is the highest-paid mascot in the NFL. He earns a total of $650,000 a year which is considered high.

Having a mascot on the team is fun and spices up the entertainment one get from the game. Unfortunately, most NFL teams have a mascot parading the field all day except for a few teams who do not have a permanent mascot.

Well, not all 32 teams have a mascot to spice up the game. Out of a whole lot of teams in the NFL, only five including New York Jets, Oakland Raiders, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, and Washington Redskins have no mascots.
