Kaiir Elam is an American football cornerback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.
He played college football at Florida and was drafted by the Bills in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

As a true freshman, Elam played in all 13 of the Gators’ games and made five starts, recording 11 tackles, three interceptions, and four additional passes broken up and was named to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) All-Freshman Team.
Elam entered his sophomore season on the Jim Thorpe Award watchlist and was named preseason second-team All-SEC. On January 10, 2022, Elam declared for the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Elam family lives about 30 minutes away from the Hall of Fame coach in Riviera Beach, Florida. After Kaiir’s games with the Florida Gators, Parcells gave him notes.
Elam said of Parcells during his meeting with the Bills at the combine, “He doesn’t care if I had the best game of my life,” according to a video on the team’s YouTube channel.
“You gave him too much cushion,” he called me. I feel like you might have removed these folks from limits.’ merely little things like that assist me in achieving my objectives right now.
Parcells made an extra effort to assist Elam by making a quick phone call to a particular Buffalo quarterback.

His father, Abram, played in the NFL for seven seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and Kansas City Chiefs.
Elam can also turn to his uncle, Matt, a former first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens who now plays in the CFL with the Edmonton Elks.
