Atiim Kiambu “Tiki” Barber is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the New York Giants of the National Football League for ten seasons.

Barber ranks second in career rushing yards (3,389) and single-season rushing yards (1,397) third in career all-purpose yards (4,869), single-season all-purpose yards (1,906), and single-game all-purpose yards (311); and seventh in career scoring (210) and single-season scoring (96). His jersey No. 21 was retired by Virginia.
A two-time First Team Academic All-American and Academic All-ACC selection, Barber compiled a 3.3 GPA in commerce and was inducted into the Academic All-American Hall of Fame in 2014.
He was selected in the second round (36th overall) of the 1997 NFL Draft by the New York Giants and served as the starting running back for the Giants for 10 seasons from 1997-2006.
A three-time Pro Bowler from 2004-06, Barber was named First Team All-Pro after leading the NFL in touches (411) and yards from scrimmage (2,390). From 2003-2006, he gained the most yards from scrimmage by any NFL running back in those four years. Barber helped the Giants to an appearance in Super Bowl XXXV.
